I provide EVIDENCE-BASED ADHD EDUCATION, SUPPORT, & GROUP COACHING PROGRAMs
Students with ADHD face unique challenges in their academic pursuits, such as difficulties with focus, time management, prioritization, & motivation. This program addresses these challenges by providing tools & strategies that empower neurodivergent students to effectively manage their symptoms & optimize their academic performance & overall mental wellbeing.
ADHD Support & Group Coaching extends beyond academic success, embracing a whole person approach, integrating various aspects of student's college experience. We build skills around emotional regulation, self-care, & self-advocacy. Simultaneously building general life skills, workforce skills & EQ skills. We foster self-awareness, self-acceptance, & resilience through a sense of belonging & agency around creative problem solving.
I value connection & collaboration. I believe that a strong partnership between myself & your university is essential for the success of the program. I am committed to working closely with your staff, students, & administration, to ensure the successful implementation & ongoing evaluation of the program. I will align the program with your university's goals, policies, & resources.

As a Neurodivergent Educator, Facilitator, & Coach, I am deeply committed to education around & advocating for students with ADHD. I acknowledge the ongoing efforts of colleges & universities as they strive to understand & address the diverse needs of their student body, particularly in the context of invisible disabilities, accommodations, & learning differences. My aim is to contribute to these commendable endeavors.
This program aims to enhance understanding & acceptance of the difficulties & complexities of life with an ADHD brain & body. I want students to cultivate & practice effective tools & strategies, aspiring to establish a supportive community for neurodivergent students.
By integrating psychoeducation, coaching methods, & evidence-based ADHD interventions, the program brings advantages to both students & staff within the institution.
Through psychoeducation, we dive into critical ADHD challenges, all related to executive function & self-regulation: emotional regulation, motivation, memory & focus, prioritization & planning, time management, problem-solving, self-advocacy & communication. I provide an established toolbox for each executive function or self-regulation challenge in order to establish the groundwork for group coaching & goal-oriented action. Level 1 offers a supportive community, creating an environment where neurodivergent students can share experiences, feel seen & understood. A place for belonging. This transformative journey empowers both participating students & staff, contributing to sustained academic success, overall health, & wellbeing.
Building on the foundation of the Psychoeducation & Support Group, Level 2 offers students who completed Level 1 direct small group coaching & the opportunity to learn from peers facing similar challenges. Throughout the semester, participants set measurable short-term goals, identify obstacles, & engage in creative problem-solving. Mandatory experimentation aids in developing tailored tools for personal ADHD challenges, fostering authenticity & self-confidence. The coaching group maintains strengths-based peer & coach support, with a focus on academic prioritization, ADHD symptom management, & overall well-being. This process empowers students to practice effective strategies & establish routines for long-term academic, work, & life skills enhancement.
In Level 3, the invaluable connection, trust, & belonging established between students & staff become a university's most valuable asset. Following the 7-week psychoeducational & support group, as well as the semester-long coaching & goal-setting program, members further connect & collaborate to enhance self-awareness, self-regulation, & executive function skills. Peer interactions focus on cultivating healthy relationships, communication, & self-advocacy through cooperative accountability. Students persist in refining time management, planning, prioritization, motivation, & focus strategies, fostering both academic success & personal growth.

The group experience was truly beneficial! Dana, our group leader & facilitator, along with the University Center Coordinator, both brought valuable diversity to the age representation among group members, as I returned to school in my late 30s after a 20-year career at Microsoft. Both shared their personal experience as ADHDers which brought added expertise & credibility. The program not only created a strong sense of community but also greatly enhanced my overall college experience.
Amidst my hectic schedule, the meetings offered both accountability & consistency, increasing stability & significantly enhancing the success & structure of my semester.
Dana is exceptional! Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, & supportive. She goes above & beyond, even outside scheduled meetings if & when needed.

This program has been a game-changer for me. Sharing weekly wins with the group cultivated a supportive community that I felt truly understood my struggles. This weekly practice boosted my optimism & made me more mindful of my actions. I now take pride in accomplishing even the smallest tasks, eagerly anticipating sharing them with the group.
While medication aided focus, this group was key to providing direction on how to best to channel that focus. Group discussions & coaching on time blindness, time management, & emotional regulation made a huge impact.
I've honed my skills in self-advocacy both personally & academically. Understanding executive function & task initiation transformed my approach towards assignments, putting an end to perpetual procrastination. Techniques such as time-estimation & time-tracking along with time-blocking has revealed tasks take less time than anticipated, fueling my motivation. Participating in group think dynamics helped me develop study methods, filling a gap I had coming into college.
The group members & their unwavering support became my greatest takeaway. Sharing challenges & offering one another coaching assistance has fostered a sense of acceptance, significantly reducing the dread & isolation I had often felt with ADHD. This group remains my lifeline, providing invaluable substance.

In terms of managing ADHD symptoms, I've developed the ability to recognize my emotions more effectively & reduce the harm it can cause to myself & others. I've gained various tools & strategies to curb procrastination & increase motivation & task initiation, maintaining optimal dopamine levels.
